It's only inhabitants are two beach dogs, a few crabs and a flock of pelicans. We spent a (way too short) day relaxing here on our honeymoon.

You can reach Isla Contadora in Las Perlas from Panama City in less than half an hour by plane. From here where you will most likely stay you can hire a fisherman to take you to any of the hundreds of inhabited and uninhabited islands in the chain.

Las Perlas were made famous when Survivor was filmed there. We were actually there at the same time and Contadora was filled with staff working on the series.

If you take the launch to the other side you can see two forts. Well keep going upwards untill you get to the 3rd one. The view is worth it.

From the banking district it's less than 5 minutes if the traffic isn't heavy.

It makes a great spot for a quick hike if visiting Panama City.

The unfinished buildings on the left at Punta Paitilla are now completely finished. As is multicentro which is basically at the corner where Paitilla sticks out.
