Well, now is everything clearer for me, I didn't noticed he was an homeless person... But, even though, my feeling about the pictire is the same... In reality this picture tells me much more about "a fall", "an abbandonement" or maybe "a lose of senses". But I undestand you, it works like a criticism...
And I repeate, the photo is just fabulous!

Thank you both for the kind comments. I'll try to explain the 'title mystery'.

I don't bother much about the titles, they're usually straightforward, random or only meaningful to me. Well in this case, the title has two roots.

The man is a homeless person, sleeping on the ground in front of the Centre Pompidou. He actually seemed quite content, enjoying autumn Sun, stretching his arms and legs, yawning. He made the whole Pompidou front yard seem as his bed, his 'home' :)

His happy mood is not really seen on the photo. My view is very subjective, of course, but it might also appear that the man lies flat on the ground, literally and metaphorically.
As Janis Joplin sang: "Freedom's just another word for nothin left to lose." Freedom is Home, so, well, voilà :)

Hugs, Urska

This is indeed an excellent and intense picture, like Patrick said, Urshka !!!
I like the toning and composition too ... but just like him I wondering why the title is "home" !!?? He made me smile with his comment.

Home? Don't know your motivations, but, looking to this photo I can feel everything but "home"... :/
But about the photo, I find it just amazing! It's really intense...
